DIY Hand Soap

diy-hand-soap-handsoap

This recipe is so incredibly quick and easy to whip up. Tip: ALWAYS put your water in first followed by the Castile soap. If you do it the other way around, you’ll end up with a sudsy mess.

  • 1 part Castile soap
  • 3 parts water

Or

  • ¼ cup Castile soap
  • ¾ cup water

&

  • A foaming pump bottle

NOTES:

  • The reason I list the ingredients this way is because once you’ve been making it long enough you don’t even need to measure and this recipe does not require being exact.
  • ALWAYS ADD THE WATER FIRST
  • Depending on the size of your bottle you may need to adjust the measurements.
  • Keep a bottle of Castile soap under each sink and teach everyone in the house to fill the dispenser. When you use up the last of your Castile soap add it to your shopping list and you’ll have a new bottle before you ever run out!
  • You can also reuse old foaming hand soap bottles if you have them. Grandma gave us a few of her empty Dial bottles and they have worked like a charm.
