Disposable Razors
In 2020 we began using a safety razor & haven’t looked back. I love that safety razors are free from questionable synthetics & that they are plastic-free, recyclable & cruelty-free! A safety razor will be a one-time initial investment of $15-45 for your razor with a box of replacement blades running $10-20. One blade can last 3-5 shaves, making our box of razors last about a year even with 3 people using them! I purchased my first Bissell steam mop over a decade and a half ago & since we’ve tried nearly every brand & model on the market. We always go back to Bissell. I purchased it because baby Chloe had begun crawling & it seemed like no matter how many times I mopped the floor with our Swiffer mop poor Baby Chloe ended up with filthy hands, feet & knees. Then it dawned on me that all those chemicals I was spraying on the floor went straight into her mouth every time she sucked that chubby little thumb. One of these will be an initial investment of about $120. We also invested in a pack of generic reusable pads for about $20. These two products will provide us with 3+ years of weekly mopping using nothing but water! I love that the floors dry so fast that I don’t have to lock animals & kids out just to achieve clean floors, this also makes it an option for all floor types!
